Frequently asked

The questions organisers, judges and athletes ask us most, before every season.

Does it cost athletes anything?
No. Athlete accounts and profiles are free, forever. Athletes register for events, follow live scores and keep their verified competition history without paying comma, anything.
How long does setup take?
A single event with live scoring can be configured in under an hour. A federation with licensing, memberships and rankings is typically live within two weeks, with our team alongside you.
What do judges need on the day?
A more or less recent smart phone, a updated browser and a registered judge account. Judges score in the browser. No app install, no dedicated hardware.
Can we keep our own rankings rules?
Yes. Points scales, timeframes, drop-scores and season windows are all configurable. If your formula is genuinely unusual, comma+ builds it to your rules.
Who owns the data?
You do. Your organisation's events, results and member records are yours, exportable at any time, and hosted in the EU. Athlete profiles belong to the athlete.
Does it work for our sport?
comma, runs judged action sports formats: slopestyle, big air, halfpipe, street, park, freeride, best trick and jam sessions. If your format is new, talk to us, we can probably add it.
Can results feed our website and broadcast?
Yes. Website embeds for schedule, start lists, live scores and rankings, plus live overlay graphics for your stream and venue screens. Both fully branded.
We already use another scoring tool. Can we move?
Yes. We import historic events and results, match athletes to verified profiles and keep your rankings continuous. Most organisations switch between seasons.
